Downloading a Program
Many beginners (newbies) are sometimes confused about the download process. A lot of web pages are filled with ads and links for programs besides the desired program. For a person not used to downloading programs this can be intimidating.
The example on this page is for downloading a spyware remover, Malwarebytes. If you click on that link, you will get a page that looks like this without the red arrow. The arrow shows where to go to start the download process.

Once you click the 'Download free version) you get a page like the following screenshot without the red arrow. Again the arrow shows where to start the download.

Choose which server to download from and then you should see a screen similar to the following.
If you want to save this file to your hard drive, select 'Save'. If
you want to go ahead and install then select 'Run'. I always save to my hard
drive so the file can be scanned for malware before installing.
