eMClient
eMClient is the closest email program to an Outlook replacement I have found. It has a calendar and if you use Gmail, it can import the Google calendar.
So far I am impressed with eMClient. It setup my email account with Gmail almost effortlessly. Screenshots I did have to go to Account Settings (Tools/Accounts) and tick the Enable Account
eMClient downloaded my mail quite fast. I setup some folders and rules and it worked very well. The rules for folders worked very similar to those in Outlook Express.
I imported my Contacts using File/Import. There are import options for most email programs. Screenshot
There is an option to import contacts from Facebook. I had to see how this worked, so I clicked the 'Import contacts from Facebook. A screen came up for my login and password for Facebook Screenshots You can select the contacts to import.
eMClient imported my Facebook contacts complete with the picture and birthday for each contact. It did NOT import the email addresses. This is a good thing in my opinion.
One thing to note, I did not have a calendar in my Gmail account. Every time I opened eMClient I received an error. I just click 'Hide' and the error goes away.
This is a very nice program and should work very well for most users.
