My Rules for Groups
I will try to always be nice. There is no reason to be otherwise.
I will try to be patient. Everyone at one time or another needs help! Sometimes it is hard to understand what help is being offered, so explain! Some folks are difficult to understand. Maybe it's because they just don't know how to ask a question or how to describe their problem.
Gently remind posters not to SHOUT! (Please don't post messages all in capitol letters)
Don't make fun of someone else's problems!
Unless I have documented proof that a program is not what it should be, I
will not run down someone else's choice of programs!
(This is a biggie! AOL comes to mind.)
Before I press the 'Send' button, read what I wrote to be sure I do not sound condescending and make sure I spelled everything right!
Don't chastise someone on the Group. This is embarrassing to the offender! A reminder off list is much better.
