Another Popup Annoyance
Some sites want to help us be 'social'. In this process they have instituted a popup when a user accidently touches one of the social icons a page and gets this little jewel popping up. This done using a service called 'Add This'.
You can go to network advertizing, and opt out of a lot of ad sites (remove their cookie) Just look how many there are! Some did not let me opt out and I will have to check this out!

I suppose this makes it easy to add something to Facebook or whatever social sites someone uses, but I consider it an un-necessary invasion on my browser.
The Internet is getting just a bit 'too social' for me. These social things seem to want to know what we are doing all the time, just so they can target ads to us.
Eventually there will be absolutely no privacy due to all the tracking that can be implemented to unsuspecting users, but until that happens I will fight it tooth and nail.
AdBlockPlus for Firefox seems to do the trick in blocking Ad This popups
