Good Sites for Information About Spyware
Update! When this page was first written, Ad-aware and Spybot would remove most spyware. They still remove a whole lot of the bad stuff. But spyware is getting harder to remove and sneakier about how it gets on to your computer. As of this date I am now using Spybot Search and Destroy, SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition, ESET Smart Security and Windows Defender which comes with Vista. I am also using Firefox which does not use ActiveX controls. I am afraid it is only a matter of time before we will all have to implement new and stronger protection against spyware. Stay tuned!
